CHIK'N-BOX and BEAK-A-TINE !!!
Due to the fact that chickens are kept in such tight confinement on large chicken farms, beak removal is common practice to prevent the chicks from pecking each other to death. The tight confinement also makes it necessary to give the chickens plenty of antibiotics in their food. Many diseases such as e. coli and avian flu come from this tight confinement.
Not only is the confinement of the chickens inhumane, it sacrifices the taste of your eggs and poultry.
Try some farm fresh eggs from your local farmers market, and you will never go back to cage eggs again.
Good stuff.
