Nice vintage radio, i used to listened to a 1956's my grandfather had. To fine tune a noisy radio broadcast. Select the station you want to hear clearly, open the case and please be very careful. Look for the square looking silver boxes and with a screwdriver adjust the station. Those are called adjusters transformers, do one at a time back and forth and until hear a clear signal

Very cool radio! If I'm correct, this could be anywhere from 1946 to 1948, so like right after WWII. I also have a very nice RCA Victor tube radio (Mine is from 1954). You should check the back to see if it has a phono jack. A lot of RCA radios do!

This was our family radio growing up in the '50s. Listened to the very first home game of the Minnesota Twins in 1961 on this radio. I have a schematic diagram for this model and am looking for a clean one to buy.

Man! We don't have hardly any music stations on AM here in Grand Rapids Michigan.

thats too bad! We got a nice selection of AM stations. Country, oldies, talk radio, etc. And there's a bar close to my house that broadcasts karaoke night from 10.00 to 10.30... if u can get CJWW AM Saskatoon on satelite, I suggest listening to it. GREAT STATION! and did u hear that total Canadian accent at 1.38? holy crap~ BTW I had a few to drink. LOL it took forever to type this correctly.
Also, u live in Michigan? AWESOME! I never been to the USA and I'd love to go sometime.

That chassis looks in such good shape and I really like the dial. You've got a good assortment of AM staitions to listen to too!

Thanks!
Ya, it was very clean inside, only light dust, so I just took the tubes out and wiped them clean. And it looks to me like it's either been refurbished, or treated with much care all this time (except for the crack). It needs absolutely no mechanical work at all!
