this song tells the story of a middle class family hit hard by the recession. i was inspired to write it after watching barack obama make a speech in which he said (i'm paraphrasing) "a family should not have to sell their house if their child gets sick, that's not the america i know" i need to look up the exact quote but that was the idea of it and thats what inspired me to write this song.

I think you should rerecord this version with Chris and Ana singing it together. Ana has such a sweet voice, but when singing siting down you both has less power in the voice, especially Ana, so I can barely here her. If you can balance it so she is more heard it would be better than the version w/ Christ singing solo.
