  • The instruments and avionics have been totally modernized

  • Yes - the plane has been rebuilt to go into regular service with a normal airline, not as a museum exhibit, that's one reason I was so fascinated. The avionics had to be updated because of safety regulations and in order to get a certificate to carry passengers (and chickens) today.
