Focus Green 2009, presented by Dowling Company Improvement Foundation, speaker Kevin Fletcher speaks about LEED, the Makena Resort golf course and their sustainable development, and how we reaching the tipping point for environmental development and sustainable living. Special Thanks to Maui Style Media, Hawaii Nature Center, Everett Dowling, Kevin Fletcher, and Audubon International.
To boast about being LEED or being green by way of supporting renewable energy does not excuse or minimize respect for community, culture and the heritage of the Hawaiian people. To trample on community, culture and heritage as practiced by Everett Dowling is an ingrained methodology to feed his lust for money. The Bible condemns the lust for money. Ralph Nader cautioned "Buyer Beware." MAUI - residents, visitors. LENDERS - investors, banks - ED is a shark feeds on GREEN. Are U Green?

It would be nice if all projects on Maui (including public sector projects) would use green building techniques. If they would maybe our reefs would regenerate.
