這是一個文化博奕問題，粵語文化是古舊中原文化，是成千上億粵人­的歸屬，也是大部份海外華人的根源。粵人可以接受普通話為國語，­但不願見到本身文化被取代。長遠計，粵語文化需要受到保護和確認­。中華需要大統一，但不要讓這樣珍貴的遺產消失。
