two interesting things:
1. bending the needle at the hub increses the chance of breakage while administering an injection, especially infiltrations like this one.
2. How cheap and gross, you really don't have any disposable saliva ejectors?

@drguruprathap No it's not, an injection at several strategic locations is necessary in order to ensure that all nerves and nerve endings are completely saturated with the lidocaine.

@AbtinX Those needles are actually made of a very malleable form of stainless steel. It's very hard to break them as they will just bend.

In my experience, I have found that if you apply digital pressure for ~30 seconds to the tissue of the palate, it diminishes the exquisiteness of pain perceived by the patient. It does not require any additional tools other than the operator's gloved finger.
