Froogle takes a quick look at the new Black Shark 2 from Eagle Dynamics. As with its predecessor this is a HUGE study sim - if you have requests for stuff you'd like to see (combat procedures, flight procedures etc etc) let me know in the comments below.

  • i would like to se a full engine start from cold/dark

  • @nibelung34343 I'd better hit the books again - been a while.

  • Glorious ... wonderful ... installed it 2hrs ago.

As for ArmA: I love the game, and what it's done for squad work. But flying? and vehicles? I can put up with less than stellar models, but ... I know of no other game where I have such bad performance.

    DCS rocks!!

  • @tremben It certainly does. As soon as my schedule eases up a bit I fully intend to do a BUNCH of KA50 and A10 vids. You have been forewarned.

  • This looks cool, gona buy it off the site.

  • @frooglepete /me takes a knee and lights a smoke ;p

Say, I finally decided to get into video editing. Got SonyVegas 10. Maybe I can lend a hand sometime.

    ^5

p.s. you in a clan? I'm joining TAW ... looks like DCS may become one of their games.

  • Sick! i love Ka50 and i was shocked part 2 s out

  • @bassax7045 You know, actually the G940 is a better combo for the Black Shark because of the way the trimmer works; just like in the real chopper, trimming the G940 will lock the stick in the position you trimmed at. Overall though I will always prefer the sheer steel heft and bulk of Thrustmaster's official replica controls :)

  • @frooglepete lol ,you wont believe it ,i just visited the thrustmaster site, but it gets worse ,in the back of my mind im thinking logitech g940 with foot rudder pedals ;-)

  • @bassax7045 Lol - Guess I had better not do the video review of the Thrustmaster Warthog then.....
