Final Fantasy 12 - what level 99 is like early (pt 4/4: Max chain)

This is the second of the series of FF12 videos that shows you what it's like to play the game at level 99 essentially from the game's very beginning. Things now start to have a little more challenge, and, once cura became available, the entites were more like it, but then, I got the zodiac spear and the challenge almost went away, aside from that of the Necrohol of Nabudis area and esper battles. On the final segment, I show you what the maximum chain size is.

are there EXP bonuses connected to the chains you create that you know of?

There are no bonuses of exp with large chains. There are, however, item bonuses as big chains make the rarest of items become more common and also, items tend to come in large quantities as well.

i was just curious because i had dont this training chain technique awhile back and to me it seemed that i was leveling faster, but maybe its just because i was mesmorized by the big chain number and didnt pay attention well enough (: great video !

FF12's story is rather dull, but I love the game play and especially the powerleveling potential. It's so rare in RPGs that you can reach such extreme levels like this (maxing out) in reasonable time. Powerleveling is something I specialize in... if my Disgaea videos are any hint.

Not at this stage in the story. You can't obtain it until you get the dawn shard, if not still a bit further.

The earliest possible is right after you get the dawn shard and clear the unexpected event that follows. See my "afterward" section in my powerleveling GameFAQs guide for details on how to get there.

Raise your rank from doing hunts and it'll eventually appear in the clan shop. It's accessible as early as the time you're supposed to go to Jahara. Unless you're at a high enough level, some of the marks can be a real pain.
