@anonmonen My dad does NOT have sloppy handling... mind, he holds his rope the wrong way round - in his right rather than left hand!! Maybe theyve had extra work done since he came!! Tenor was fine to Triples, apparantly.

I came here the other Sunday, they augment to 8... and get FIVE ringers!!
I wanted to go up, but wasnt, Scouts HAD to come first for my mate :(

My dad rang a peal here in February (I don't ring peals, done my one-and-only!!) and he reckons they're a rubbish 8 - the trebles are inaudible, and the tenor doesnt like major - it slipwhheled on him a few times in the 10-minute or so attempt. In the end they rang Triples!!

@simonbellringer... Sloppy handling then - I've rung these bells to surprise major many times and never had a problem.... the trebles have had sound chutes put on them and now sound very nice in the ringing room....
