We went to Attleboro Springs Mass Audubon both Saturday and Sunday., Oct 9 & 10 2010. Its such a wonderful place. They did a great job on the Trails.

Directions:
Attleboro Springs Wildlife Sanctuary is located at 947 Park Street in Attleboro Massachusetts, just behind La Salette. Take Rt I-95 to exit 5 (Rt 152). Turn left off the exit ramp and take a right onto Rt 152 south. After 1.5 miles at the center of town, turn left onto Park Street. Follow Park Street for 1.5 miles; road will curve right. Pass the La Salette Shrine and take your next right at the stone gatehouse. The sanctuary is located at the end of the boulevard. Please note, this sanctuary is currently open to the public, but trails are under construction.

  • Beautiful! I love all the big stones I see out east...not quite the same here. And you're getting fall color :))

  • @aikitherese Hi,,thank you for watching,, There are lots of stone walls thru out the forest and field edges.. I always think about how the people had to work so hard way back when to move the stones.. The colors are changing fast,,, we had lots of rain and winds.. hoping to go out tomorrow to see the Foliage,.. and also hope the winds/rain didnt take to many leaves down., Many blessings!!
