@suave6565 If the UPS is in a hot environment, or if the batteries were being overcharged by the ups system, sealed lead acid batteries such as these may swell. swollen batteries are more of a struggle to remove, but more importantly, they indicate that either the environment, or the unit's charging mechanism, are damaging your batteries. In the case of the unit overcharging, replacing the batteries with new ones may cause premature failure of the replacement set.
