This film is so thought provoking and moving how can you not love this film?

I love Joe Wright's movies, especially Atonement. There was so much going on at any one time of the movie, but it was all so seamlessly put together (even the most brutally shocking parts, like that scene at Dunkirk during the war and Robby's... inappropriate letter).

My God, this film is gorgeous! I came upon it out of the blue and well after release. One of those "its too good for me not to have heard of it " experiences where you're totally taken away because you came in without expectations. Rare these days. I wonder what the film would have been like if I'd read McEwan's work beforehand. Regardless, I'll read it now! Oh, and J. Wright is one of the most inspiring presences in film today. This picture really shows that. Looking forward to his next!

I LOVE JOE WRIGHT! he is an amaaaaazing director! for both this movie and pride and prejudice. i love his movies, and i love the fact that he alwaaays chooses kiera knightley to be the main actor in them. i looove their movies, especially this one :)
