Our newly aquired near mint Yamaha XS-650. My dad rode one of these bikes for years, and recently found this one up for sale. He traded a Honda CB-400 four cylinder for it. Stock pipes were far too quiet, and he had this Supertrapp exhaust laying around from a parts bike. Video does not do the sound justice at all, typical...

  • I hate seeing blue pipes. I don't know why people don't rejet when they put pipes on, it ruins the looks.

    Beautiful bike though.

  • @zthang Bike is jetted accordingly, pipes were blued before the exhaust was put on the bike. And I personally love blued pipes.

  • @zthang Stock pipes were double-wall, they usually won't blue no matter how lean it gets. Single wall tubes are a different story though.
