fiddling around on the setar حرکت انگشتهای دست چپ

just for the novice to see the movement of the left hand fingers on the neck to get a lyrical sound. No great work of art here! Also shows right hand position. Bridging using the middle finger on right hand to keep the correct height for grazing the strings. Disclaimer: unlike the honarestan method, my left hand fingering focuses more on being lyrical than efficiency, it uses a lot more of the index and middle fingers (more like Indian instrumentalists) to provide control and power to each note. this is to make melody as lyrical as possible. i also dont go across strings too much, which reduces efficiency but provides a more homogeneous tone, drone and sonority. در ویدئوی دیگری توضیح دادم که این ۴ انگشتی زدن به خاطر محدودیت ساختمان دست من است و اینکه انگشتهای من هیچ به عقب خم نمیشوند. انگشت گذاری من شاید برای دیگران خوب نباشه. البته من من مجبور بودم خودم به این روش برسم چون در روش سنتی فقط از ۳ انگشت استفاده میشه. بعد ها متوجه شدم خیلی ها مانند ذوالفنون و حتی علیزاده از انگشت چهارم استفاده میکنند. اینها همه از دردهای بی استادی است و اینکه در غرب استاد خوب و شکیبا کم است.؛
