Video Cam Direct Upload- I'm directly answering a question someone posted to me, on one of my previous videos, asking if I directly endorse Dr. St. Amand's book. (Uh, no.) I also answer the question: "Why doesn't the Guaifenesin Protocol work for some people?" "Why do some people block on salicylates?" (Those annoying little plant-product buggers that slip into toothpaste, shampoos, etc.) I hope this helps answer your question. Feel free to email me if you need any more information. I also keep a blog on fibromyalgia, Guaifenesin, and headaches. www.surfercouple.com (I do not sell anything on my website, so feel free to visit. Nothing scary there.)

  • hello there i did a hair test though mail order though a website and it came back with 10 foods that i was intolerance too and i took foods out of my diet and then added them back within a few weeks and they gave me a headache with a few min of eating them so mail order tests do work!!

  • I'm just curious, if you don't mind my asking, what foods are you intolerant to? There are some foods that I suspect many folks with fibro are intolerant to, just my own theory, so I am wondering if these might be some of the same ones you can't eat?

  • Food intolerance can cause unbearable headaches best to get a test done online

  • Totally agree with you there. My migraines have gone to pretty much zero since I eliminated both gluten and dairy from my diet. This has also helped my fibromyalgia, which was a big surprise. I eliminated these foods just with the intention of cutting down on my migraines. I had no idea it would also benefit my fibromyalgia. That was just a nice surprise bonus. My morning stiffness, in particular, has improved. Just curious, though, what is an online test? - Diana

  • Hi JeepBeep! It is called the GuaiGroup. You can Google it. I am not sure if I can post a link here in the comments box. I try not to post too many URLs in my videos, as I don't want folks to think I'm advertising or selling anything. The support group info is also in the appendix of the book, along with a lot of other really good fibro resources. The first year on the protocol is really tough, (at least it was for me), and my fellow GuaiGroup members kept me going. It's a free group.

  • Just tried Googling it. It comes right up. But, make sure you do it all as one word: "GuaiGroup" and not two words "Guai Group."That brings up a Vulvovdynia (sp?) pain support group. You'll know you have the right one because it says Dr. St. Amand's name right in the description, and talks about the Fibromyalgia Treatment Center, (a non-profit group dedicated to fibro research.) You can do the protocol on your own, without going to California. The support group will help every step of the way.

  • Just sent you a email hope it helps x

  • I am just finding your videos and have ordered the book. I am curious about this online support group. You mention it several times, but not the name of it. Please post this as I live in the midwest and am not able to get to Marina Del Ray for a doctors visit. Thanking you for all of your help and insight,
