Some recruit where there for surgery for conditions they didnt know they had to guys getting diagnosed with leukemia. All kinds of crazy shit. You never know what some guys are there for. Dont get me wrong a lot of recruits where milingers. It's just not cool to put our fellow/future Marines on blast for something you may not know anything about.

MRP is mentally taxing. It's hard to imagine if you've never been there. You dont run, i.t, or p.t. It's designed that way to help people who have serious injuries heal. You still drill, read knowledge, and have feild day. I would say a recruit stuck in mrp would be better when done there and going back to training. I remember teaching p-recruits drill, knowledge, and feild day expectations, they then got pick up and I bet over anything thoose guys knew more than most, if not all how to succeed

@DavidAltaChao BRO!!! hey, this is LCpl Blake Thies. not sure if you remember me but I was guide and we started in golf together... I can back it up though, we didnt ASK to go to MRP and everyone who got out sure as hell earned there title. 6 months on the depot isnt a joke and we have to put up with people bashing on us cus we broke. Most of them couldnt have made it through MRP like we did.

MRP is a bunch of broke dicks. NO SHIT! That's why it's called Medical Rehabilitation Platoon. This didn't happened on request. Our drill instructors didn't even know about. The civilians just showed up. I'm actually in that video. I made it. Because the ones that truly want to be a Marine will become a Marine. About 80% of those guys are bitches. I was there I know. But don't sit there and judge the 20% based off the 80%. I earned my title and if you try to degrade it, then fuck you. Semper Fi.

ok so mayb i was lil harsh on the comments but i hated MRP cuz they, 1 never got fucked with, 2 didnt have to do anything, and 3 got to do anything they pretty much fucking wanted. As far as a POG, naw bro i aint no POG. I might b a reservist but i aint no POG! hahahaha i know ur thinkin cuz of my username but i was a motivated boot once and changed all my usernames and now im a TL not givin a fuck! hahahaha

@slstoneusmc Thats funny you say that cause i was there for 2 months because I had problems hearing out of my left ear. I begged my senior to keep me in me platoon but medical fucked me. I was told on december 20th that they could have me home by Christmas and i could live a life of a civilian. KNow what i told them? "Fuck that give me a waiver." I sat there for 2 months until FINALLY i got one and you say I'm not a Marine?? I'm an 0311 doing shit your POG ass pry can't dream of. fuck you

Okay, To clarify somethings with you ignorant asses...

Yes, this is MRP. No, these are not our families, it's just a bunch of random people who get together there in Cali to visit the "broke dicks" so they can actually not be depressed. If you don't know, some of us had been on the Depot for 6 months before we graduated. I graduated, I became a Marine, so did my SENIOR DRILL INSTRUCTOR. Did you also know that the Cheif Drill instructor for Echo Company was in MRP?

i graduated january 7th...we didnt get visitors either. just free time all day everyday until the day was over
