@critic500 You have absolutely no knowledge of NXTs. Make sure that you know how things work before you make yourself look stupid
-
@TheOrginalPaprika its not fake it uses microsoft robotics studio to do it im trying to do something similar now
-
@critic500 That is not correct unless there is the push sensor on it, there is no push sensor on this one.
-
@timpattinson oh, lol ty for that I was going to buy one soon :P
-
@ashneilroy it's called bluetooth. If you havent noticed most of the world has moved on from RCX
and Wiis have a gyro and SEVERAL accelerometers
-
@critic500 the whole point of nxt robots is that they can be reprogrammed to do just about anything
-
@halo6wizdomify then u cant use a wiimote and if a solid object comes between you and the brick it wont work
-
@ bietz17 bad Fake ...realy
This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is fake! NXT Robots are programed to watch for solid object and avoid them, this is whats happening in the video. He then just waved the Wiimote infront of the camera as to if he's moving the rbot with it.

of course, "critic"...
I hope you were kidding, or otherwise please do your job somewhere else
(BTW, the tutorial is there to prove that it works ;-)

I was wondering, could you make it so that you could control robots via nunchuck or classic controler?
lilchao44 3 years ago
Yes you definitely can. The wiimoteLib has support for the wiimmote extensions, such as the nunchuk and the classic controller, but I think you would still need to have the normal wiimote attached

Does the WiiMote have to be by a computer or wii sensor bar?

Both the wiimote and the lego NXT are communicating with a computer (running MSRS) through bluetooth.
So both the wiimote and the robot need to be in the range of bluetooth, i.e. about 10-20m from the PC.
No sensor bar is needed (it doesn't use IR, but just the accelerometer)
