@klepetar - I am wondering how much of that is the actual audio, and how much of that is Youtube. With my speakers cranked up, Stu's solos sound fine but there isn't much else going on to get in its way. Elsewhere in the song, the drums and the guitar are all over where the high end of the bass would be. Also, if you go back to a similar tune (although recorded with older tech) like "Satch Boogie" you may find there isn't much high end on the bass there either. Good stuff, love to hear more.

one suggestion..when recording-mixing..make sure the bass has some highs because we can barely hear it on this ..
