Gymnastics: More than just a Sport

This montage means a lot for me. I'm gymnast and I think that this video represents not just my life but all the gymnasts' life. Lot of times, we don't do something that we really want like hang out with friends or go to the cinema because we have to train. Sometimes I feel that everyday we train harder than the previous day. So, I think that Gymnastics is really more than just a sport, because we have o love it and accept it as our life to be good on it. So, Gymnastics is more than just a sport, it's a way of life.

Song: Superman( I'm not sure about it. Maybe that's something like Superheros or whatever, Sorry)


I choose this song because i think that we, gymnasts, are kind of superheros. Somedays we are so tired and we just want to go home after school but we have to ignore that and go to trains and train harder and harder.

So, yeah, that's what I think.

Gymnastics:

Its being able to do things most people can only dream of doing
Its being with your team more than anyone else
Its being able to remember every routine you've ever done
Its never having time to do anything else
Its ripped and blistered hands and feet.
Its always being sore- but never contemplating a night off
Its not being able to understand how some people can't touch their toes
Its using chalk more than soap
Its never using the words "can't" or "impossible"
Its owning more leos and warm ups than actual clothing
Its knowing you work ten times harder than any other sport
Its that dizzy, happy feeling when you stick that one landing
Its having your own language and using it non stop.
Its not just a sport...
*Its a way of life*

That's the original poem. I just used some of the line in the video, because if I ue it all the video will be really longer. So, I think that's right like that.
