WTF.. spend the whole movie showin him being a slave then just magicly show him with a big army... Wow thats a big disappointment they realy should have showed how he built that army bigger then it was before.. i mean all i seen was him run from death a quarter of the movie and be a slave a quarter of the movie and now i dont even get to see how he becomes the khan of an army str8 BS i give this movie a Big F...

This movie is relally clever in terms of how Genghis Khan is portrayed. People have this belief that he was a barbaric murderer but in reality, he wasn't all that bad of a person considering the situation at those times.

@nanamilucia123 this is a film, the real events would have involved rape, murder and pillage methinks.. Genghis caused the death of around 20 million people

Sending those uber horsemen to kill off large numbers of the enemy and cause them to rout was a pretty good strategy and it worked quite well. Although I do feel it is sort of a waste to send your best soldiers on a suicide death like that.
