How long did this one take me... 7? 8 months? I forget. I lost track after 6.

Now the series is a trilogy. The first one was a experiment, the second was to see how fast I could do it, and the third I aimed for perfection. When the film was in its early stages, it was 18 minutes long. I have no idea why I extended the music to 22 minutes, but who cares. It was probably for the better. I went out of my way to make most, if not all clips used in sync with the music, which was a much harder task than I initially thought. I attempted this in the previous 2, but the quality is nowhere near the editing in this one. I believe the results speak for themselves.

Something new you'll notice is the stunts. Gone are the days of flipping out into a wall and landing it. Sure it looks cool, but I upped the game here. Only on a few occasions you'll see me flip into nothing. It's always into a car, a cop, truck or whatever. I thought it adds more gravity to the video, no pun intended.

Another stunt I've never done before and was extremely hard to execute was flipping off an object into a gas station. Getting the right amount of spin, speed and angle off a wall and having enough propulsion to launch myself forward was a tricky task as I had to change my performance settings numerous times. Maybe it would have been easier if I did physics in high school, but the teacher was an alcoholic. That's another story.

Tricky as that may seem, they weren't the hardest stunts to pull off. The hardest stunt I somehow achieved was at 6:02. 74 attempts over a three and a half hour session to get 5 seconds of footage. It involved chasing a truck down (the car semi, not the wooden crate one), and crashing into it at the right moment to make it stop. Then, taking a run up while setting the camera in reverse and keeping an eye on it since it'll disappear if you didn't. Also, I've repeated a few stunts that appear in my other videos. It might be luck to pull something off one time, but consistently repeating that feat is completely different.

I also tried to publish the video in 1080p, but my computer nearly died in the process - so you're stuck with 720p. Considering all footage shot was at 640x512, it probably wouldn't make a difference at all.

Also, I'm never making a video this length again. This shit was just ridiculous. The program I was using was crashing every half hour by the end of the project and just changing the audio level or length of a clip caused it to go into a loading state for 15 seconds every time. Fuck you Camtasia.

Repeat footage is present. I deliberately added in very similar clips in to throw those elitist treasure hunters off. Happy hunting.

Another coat of paint to show all clips recorded were from scratch. and we're pretty much set. With all that said and all the effort I put into this, I can comfortably and confidently say you're watching "The Greatest Most Wanted Video You'll Ever See".

Just a note: if you're not watching this at full volume in high resolution and without a headset, you're doing it wrong. That's exactly the experience I was trying to deliver. No excuses.

  • holy man, how big was this file? plz respond.

  • @Patrick4441

    The movie itself is a 1280x720 - 340.13MB mp4

The raw footage folder which I call "KEEP" is 85.9GB, consisting of 770 separate clips in 28 folders. Half of the stuff in there I probably didn't use anyway.

During filming I deleted close to a terabyte in unneeded recordings. I was pretty picky with this one.
