  • This land, born of genocide & slavery, dollar worship & marketing, may never regain the wisdom lost with native cultures now scattered & lost. Chief Seattle would have been our best president if he opened the windows to air the place out first.

America the stolen land, whose amber waves of grain,

Are proxy for the real new crop, whose blood the land does stain,

Forgotten now the spirit's call, in freedom was she born,

Replaced now by the drone of shears, as sheeple coats are shorn.

  • makes me cringe to be orn caucasion and white.i agree with these ideals.and the oil wars and greed of the anglo saxon is a disgrace to life and being.

  • This man was a man, he seen many things coming that have now come to pass. It is now illegal to have rain barrels in many states, the land, the water, everything is being destroyed. We need to stop this, Chief Seattle tried, and many others have since, but we can not give up, we must try again, IF not we will have nothing left for our children and our grand children.

  • what land has no not been stolen from? many European and African countries have been stolen from their native

  • Contaminate your bed and you will one night suffocate in your own waste

  • This is not the original speech. This is the version that was written by Ted Perry for a film. Its nicely poetic but its not the original, To make a point The Salish did not hunt buffalo and the nearest Bison woukd have been a 1000 miles away for them to even have any knowlege of them. I think it is sad when we group people together that are really not the same. For example the Salish and the Lakota Sioux are both Native Americans but they are not the same people. They haven't same cultures.
