Small simple sign I designed for my EE class at school. Based around the PIC16F628A microprocessor, this circuit multiplexes 6 7-segment displays to give the illusion that all of the letters are shown at the same time. This is test number one. I programmed the sign to display the word "OTTER".

    I did this about 8 years ago - maybe it's changed....

    But my recollection is, once you manage to get a hello world program into the sucker, making it scroll some LEDs seems simple by comparison
