When Detective Endel Sorra is killed during a robbery two weeks before Christmas the lives of his family are shattered. One year later, his wife Kate is still angry and bitter. She blames herself for his tragic death.

In a desperate attempt to go on with her life, Kate begins to pack away her memories. She finds the snow globe Endel had given to her the first year they were married. As the music from the snow globe fills the room, Endel finds a way to come back to her. Over the course of two weeks, he helps her understand the reasons behind his death and other misconceptions that are ruining her life.
