@BobbyKuhn good luck with that. The reasons that you don't have to worry about viruses for a mac as much is because Mac software is made under linux which has a lot more powerful security than windows dos based system. MAcs can and do get viruses (Not nearly as much as the PC) occassionaly but since macs have better costumer service they tend to not be as much of a problem.

@AsianKLD Really got spyware and viruses computer crashed had to install operating system again. This is the third time and please spare me the "I need to avoid any porn sites, etc." I say if PC is so much better why do you have to constantly worry about this sort of thing? I'd rather have something that just works without this constant worry.

Well I don't really worry about spyware, and viruses because, well, I never got one in like 5 years, and right now my laptop(HP Pavilion dv9000) is running perfectly, although I will say its starting to lag, but im not sure how you got a spyware and a virus on it but can I ask you something did you use a security software like Norton, or just the firewall that comes with Windows.

Not if you actually take care of them. Owning a computer isn't supposed to be "everything gets done for me automatically". You have to open it up every once in a while, clean the dust out to avoid overheating, make sure you clean out your temporary and cache files every so often, keep any broken registries deleted, uninstall programs you don't need anymore. It's just common sense and it takes me like 2 minutes to do all that.
