Barack Obama outpaces Hillary Clinton by a 2-to-1 margin among white Democrats with a postgraduate education. However, among Democrats with a high school education or less, the opposite is true.
Obama's book says he hates his white blood. He also says he doesn't like white people. As far as Wright's preaching, if you watched the news they showed a dozen clips of Wright's racist speeches. He also says he hates whites and jews in his Trumphet News Magazine of which his daughter is the editor. If thats not concrete enough for you then I'm sorry.
have you actualy seen the entire sermon of pastor Wright. I have and it didn't look anything at all like hate speech. He actualy called out some small history sbnipets to remind the christians listening that Jesus doesn't advocate violence. He used the snippets to remind the listeners that violence, hate and all other nasty stuff was to be left behind. The black community is a black community because some members have felt the oppression yet Wright did no support segregation anytime.
Oh we're on the subject of Wright AGAIN!!!! why are we having this discussion in regards to this clip??? cos Clinton supporters have nothing else to say! have you done any research into Hillary's former pastor??? he's been given 3 years for molesting a 7 year old girl yet Obama and his former pastor is the ones getting bad press this just makes me sick.
um...yes it is. So, Obama is responsible for all of what Wright says/thinks and Wright is responsible for all that Farrakhan says/thinks. We endorse people all the time without endorsing everything about those people. Guilt by association is a logical fallacy. And AS OBAMA SAID, Wright (and Farrakhan, for that matter) came from different experience which explain (but may not excuse) they way of thinking. Note the difference between his forgiving tolerance, and your guilt by association.
Yeah, right. Calling Whites the devil is normal church teaching? Saying Whites lynched a black Jesus is church teaching? Italians have garlic noses. Wright has preached hate for over 30 years. Thats what he is about. He agrees with Louis Farrakhan and said he was the greatest. Farrakhan hates Whites and Jews. None of this is out of context.
So exactly what is it about Obama's relation with Wright that is so bad? Obama doesn't need to hate whites to recognize and want to be a part of Wright's church and Wright doesn't need to hate whites as a result of these few statements taken out of context. Humans are complex...we maintain relationships for lots of contradictory reasons and in spite of others we also hold dearly. I wonder what we'd be able to find out about you and take out of context? Does that make you bad or incompetent?
And again, what's wrong with BLT, anyway? Do you think owning slaves is Christian? What about violently segregating and oppressing? As a white Christian, I don't find most of BLT a problem (and I don't think I need to agree with all of it for it to be a valid perspective...I'm not God, so recognize my limits on these issues). Jesus did come for the oppressed, not the oppressors. And I don't think pointing out corruption and immoral events in US past and present is unpatriotic...silence is
I agree, that is asinine. But so is thinking most college students don't think for themselves. You may not've agreed with your college professors, but that doesn't mean those who did were unthinking followers. When we cast our opposition as being stupid, no progress is made. They might just turn and say you were too "brainwashed" by your upbringing, while they were "open-minded" at college. Let's all grow up and accept that some don't have good reasons and others do on any side of an issue.
First you say it is about not knowing the voting record, but then cite his bias and association with BLT...as humder mentioned, record are similar...so you next post shows your REAL reason...you see him as a black advocacy extremist. BUT going beyond sound clips: saying "Goddam America" in context isn't biased or anti-American. "Damning" was a way to point out unrighteousness so one can change their ways. This isn't like wishing someone to hell, which out of context it appears to be...

One small benefit to the fact there are fewer college educated people in the US than not.
