  • @lukkha1 I don't care if this "pianist" is a fag or not, but this is one of the most uninspiring executions of this wonderfully dreamy Nocturne... Where's the real emotion, the singing melodies & the heart-melting moments? Surely not here... And with a suit like that, he's more like a Death Metal singer thatn a classical pianist, and it's really unpleasant to see someone with this appearance to execute such a beautiful piece... Sure, he isn't bad here, but he is outshined by the competition...

  • i slept with him and i can tell you guys he is a maestro . sorry girls he plays for the other team !

  • A big joke indeed

  • @lnr08f Delius is not talking about this pianist's attire or sexual orientation - and that has no room here. To the contrary Delius correctly points to the lack of any emotion or feeling in this performance - it is bland, boring and bad. If you had in fact listened to other interpretations by real piano virtuosi you would understand, maybe.

  • Fredi Szopen is de best polish musicalmen !

  • I've listened to a ton of renditions of this piece and I have no idea what DeliusAlkan is talking about when he/she says that this is an '"uninspiring execution." This was performed very, very well. There was a lot of emotion and heart put into this piece and I could tell. I think that the pianist's sexual orientation and outfit are masking Delius' perception of this wonderful Nocturne.

  • Yup, some people have their ideas, and readily downgrade anyone that won't deliver to their expectations. If Maxim let some "flattness" crip in, it is because he *felt* so, not because he can't do "better". That is a part of artist's integrity and, yes, feeling flat is very legitimate human emotion, that certainly hasn't been stranger to Chopin too. Producing emotion because others want it, in the form and volume desired, comes dangerously close to the definition of kitsch art.

  • @DeliusAlkan I would say that clothing is not important. If you are not able to listen with a heart but just with your prejudices then pls do not listen to music at all.

  • Yes, he is Croatian <3

  • @AnnaliseEmber There is a Like AND Dislike button for every video for a reason. I voted thumps down on the video and voiced my opinion. You don't like my opinion? Don't read it. Very simple, really.

You have a nice day too.

    aaww

    Life's tough.

The simple solution is that if you don't like something, don't sit there and snivel about it; simply don't watch it.

    Have a nice day.
