(June 9)This is AP Sports Monday.The Boston Celtics have a 2-games to none lead over the Lakers in the NBA finals, after Sunday's 108-102 victory.Boston held off a furious Laker rally to win.The Lakers trailed by 24 with less than 8 minutes to go, but pulled to 104-102 on two free throws by Bryant with 38.4 seconds left.Paul Pierce had 28 for Boston, while Kobe Bryant scored 30 for LA.---------------------Rafael Nadal routed Roger Federer to win his 4th straight French Open title Sunday. Nadal won six consecutive games early and won handily, 6-1, 6-3, 6-love in Paris.He's the first man to win four straight French Opens since six-time champion Bjorn Borg (byorn borg) did it from 1978-81.SOT: Rafael Nadal---------------------------------------------------------------------------­-----------------------Kasey Kahne (kayn) overcame an early pit road penalty and led a race-high 69 of 200 laps to win the Pocono 500 Sunday.After starting from the pole, Kahne took the checkered flag for the third time in four events.Brian Vickers finished second, his best result since joining Red Bull Racing at the start of last season.-------------------------------------------------------------------------­-----------------------------------------------------Yani Tseng of Taiwan became the first rookie in 10 years to win an LPGA major Sunday.The 19-year old beat Maria Hjorth on the fourth hole of a playoff with a 5-foot birdie on the 18th hole to win the LPGA Championship.Se Ri Pak was a rookie when she won the 1998 LPGA Championship.-------------------------------------------------------------------­------------ Justin Leonard sank a 19-foot birdie putt on the second extra hole to beat Masters champion Trevor Immelmanand Robert Allenby in a playoff at the Stanford St. Jude Championship. Leonard blew a one-stroke lead with two holes left to fall into the playoff. The win is Leonard's 12th on the PGA Tour.-------------------------------------------------------Ryan Howard's two-run double capped a three-run eighth inning as the Phillies beat the Braves 6-3, completing a three-game sweep.The loss drops the Braves 6 1-2 games behind the National League East-leading Phillies. Howard had four RBI and the first three-double game of his career. The Phillies have won 12 of their last 14 games._________, the Associated Press, with AP Sports Monday.
