Thanksgiving 1963 sees the family reunite under the clouds of President Kennedy's assassination and the knowledge that with a new house planned by John, this may be the last one in this house. The family meets John-Boy's city girlfriend. Corabeth still disapproves of Aimee's lifestyle choices. Erin is offered a teaching job, but is unsure how to do that and raise her three children.

  • we should be lucky we had shows like this that wasn't sex and techno dependant just real acting with a storyline and memorable characters not a bunch of forgetable new age nobodies who cannot act

  • "she could have been a great tragic actress...or an interior decorator" LOL

  • At around 6:43 or so, you could hear Corbeth actually call her husband by his first name, not last name.

    That's rare! Ha.

You normally hear her call him Mr. Godsey.

  • Geez Mary Ellen looks young for her age, considering her first husband was supposedly killed in Pearl Harbor (yes I know he's still alive) back in the 1940's, then 20 some years later she has another husband and young kids. So John Curtis would be what, 15 or 16 years old? Wonder if he went to Vietnam too, they don't mention him at all this special...

  • @redfordforpresident nah, just Hollywood lol

  • Daddt Walton hit the nail on the head, this country alway's seem's to be in a state of repair, never fully fixed.

  • @rbryant100 Indian Summer?

  • @phil21469 jim bob's been drinking too much of the Baldwins "receipe" and eating flapjacks. but he looks like a good country boy !

  • Love the Waltons, but I have to be a little picky. This is supposed to be western Virginia in November. The leaves would be off the trees by this time of the year, excluding the Pines.

  • man elisabeth has grown into a fox ...... waltons one of my favorite programs in my child hood .... and watt the hell has jim bob been eating
