@DeviousPsy "wikipedia Bolo_punch" An uppercut is an uppercut my friend. Any technique that helps you win fights is welcome of course but the standards are set.
-
@arikat1 yeah but if you really want to knock the guy out, bend it xD this is the original beginner technique which u need to learn before the nupgrade
-
@DeviousPsy well of course. But the guy here teaches the right technique. Remember your high school physics? Force vectors and all that? Well you have to go straight up so there's no xx' component
-
0.20 u dont shoot straight up.. i slightly let it bend towards your oponent so even if he moves backwards, you still get him in the chin.. aim for the upper body and your fist WILL reach his chin
If I may, I'd like to offer some practical advice: the uppercuts and roundhouse punches are really what differentiate Muay Thai from something more "traditional" like Karate or Tae Kwon Do. Thay have the opportunity to cause more damage than a straight punch, but they also leave you more open to counterattacks if you miss or your opponent blocks somehow. It's essential for you to throw these types of attacks accurately, don't let up on the power, and keep moving to stay as guarded as possible.

I like that he says you should never punch above your head then punches above his head. He should take his own advice.
