Although accident is on side road, CHP Capt. asks for documents, that aren't even used anymore. Says that CHP Does control the Media. So much for a 1st Amendment

Wrong this CHP is violating this dudes Constitutional rights. The Law is very clear here. She is out of line, and her comment that CHP does in fact control the media, is so far off the center it is nuts. No Govt. entity controls the MEDIA. Hell CHP did away with their Press Credentials years ago, and even invite, Bloggers to their News Events. She is out of line. She can explain it to a Jury here in the near future, along with her buddies very very soon

Well lets see, I wonder what the CONSTITUTION says about PRESS CREDENTIALS, and I wonder what CHP has to say about them. Her Chief called me on my cell phone begging me not to sue her and the rest of the ASSHOLE CHP that run around San Diego. These abusive clowns have gotten away with so much shit, they just make up the LAWS as they go. I have several videos of Oceanside CHP, that say they are out of control. You can get credentials from any NEWS org, that you work.

Just cause you have a video camera does not make you a journalist. The media credentials are given out by legitimate news agencies like Associated Press, and all real news organizations give their journalists i.d. cards. No credentials no entry, you are in no way a journalist as more a pain in the ass that thinks he knows the laws and rights. Stop sucking in the bong for your information.

The CHP did drop their media credentials service in 2004 but they do have a new program and is working with the California Broadcasters Association and California Newspaper Publishers Association. You can find more info on the first amendment center website. The guy who posted this video is an idiot, and way too worked up over this.
