If you just gave it some rings or a chili dog once in a while it wouldn't have such an attitude problem.

@crazycookie56 mine does it to thats what they always do because it's their defense but once I hold mine it stops

I have had my hedgehog for almost two years now and he still doesnt like me. He makes those noises and curls up into a ball! What should I do? PLEASE HELP ME!:)

@wimeradus if you want your hedgehog to become tame, you MUST get him out and play with him every day for at least an hour, be gentle with him, and make sure you give him treats :)
And with the picking up thing, many people say dont use gloves but personally i think its okay, but not allways. i used gloves to start off with, and every while i stroke him without a glove, and in time i became very pain resistant to his quills and i can hold him bare handed now :)

My hedgehog acts exaclty the way he does on video! I only have him 4 days now... I try to pick him up as u say and then i let him walk around a little bit :) but i dont dare too pick him up with my bare hands! That hearts! When do u think mine will be sweet like ur other hedgehogs???
