Jose Garcia Briseno, Part One

Part one of a video on Jose Garcia Briseno, currently on death row in Texas, awaiting execution. Since his incarceration, he has had a profound effect on the lives of many around him and those with whom he has corresponded.

Originally scheduled for April 7, 2009, a stay of execution was granted on April 2, 2009 to find if the jury was aware of his background of abuse, abandonment, substance abuse and limited intellectual functioning during the penalty phase of his trial.
