Any of you posting with children under the ages of 8 would understand how huge the cars franchise is to Disney. The opening the park is going to be a major success. Not to mention that a new Cars movie is opening next summer. This will be a must visit for any family with kids. As for the quality of the Cars movie, it is a great piece of film making, I have had to watch it about 1000 times with my kids and unlike almost any other movie, it doesn't make me want to shoot my self in the head.

Don't insult the fact that the Disneyland resort is smaller that the WDW resort. What would you expect from the limited space that the old Disneyland parking lot had to offer?

Well no, that's the main reason why they've decided to renovate the park. The predominant reason was because the park was redundant. I mean, think about it. A theme park in California based on other attractions that are in...California. It really is redundant. Overall, as an Annual Passholder, I'm glad they've decided to give the park a spark of new life. It's refreshing, and watching the park transform over time is interesting.

I went there 3 weeks ago. The place looked small from being close to it. I thought it would've been the size of a REAL Mountain.
