The dispatch you hear for the still alarm at Gunston and Maiden was Engine 46 getting stilled out for a pole fire. Upon arrival, DFD Central transmitted signal 11 at Gunston and Maiden.

What the hell were those cars doing at 6:09? Didn't they hear the goddamn airhorns blasting? Just a waste of air having to blast those air horns at those dumbfounded drivers.

@ntfd125 Okay i understand thanks for that information, i live in the netherlands and here they have a standard turnout in case of a structure fire they call it a train its 2 engines and one ladder and a commander then when its a big fire or avery big fire then they send 2 more ladders and 2 more engines on the scene with a special unit for the breathing apparates and

@marcelrotgans It depends on how many alarms the box goes to. A box alarm/1st alarm is 3 engines, a truck, squad, BC, and a medic. If it goes to 2 alarms an additional 3 engines, 2 trucks, squad, BC, DC, and the tour commander respond. So with each alarm the amount of rigs increase. I believe Detroit only goes to 3 alarms but I'm not 100%. The IC may also call in a specific rig like 1 truck or 1 engine if he doesn't need a full alarm assignment.

I wonder if this female dispatcher knows she's a Youtube legend. Anyone who follows DFD here on this site knows her work. She does a great job.
