Ch. 11 So This Is What It's Like
Andrew: (gets into the jet) Wowww this is amazing.
Justin: Ehh, it could be better.
Andrew: Are you freaking kidding me. How could it get any better?
Scooter: It was all I could get on such short notice. Be lucky that we have this.
Andrew: So how long will it take to get to LA?
Pilot: About 2 hours, so it won't be a long trip. But please, get comfortable and enjoy the flight.
Andrew: Oh don't worry I will.
Alex: Andrew, you are the best step cousin ever.
Andrew: I am your only step cousin.
Alex: But still, if I had more, you would be my favorite.
Andrew: Haha good to know.
Pilot: (over the intercom) Please fasten your seat belts we are about to take off.
Justin: I am going to take a nap. Wake me when we get there. (puts his headphones in)
Andrew: Alright, when we get there nobody wake him up and let's leave him here.
Justin: I heard that.
Andrew: (sticks his tongue out)
Justin: I know what you are doing, so stop.
Andrew: Creeper.
Justin: No, remember we can sense things, it came with the powers.
Andrew: Yeah, I remember.
Justin: Good now shutup so I can sleep.
Andrew: Fine. (throws a pillow at him) Sleep tight.
Justin: (opens one eye) Jerk, do that one more time and see what happens.
Andrew: Whatever you say princess. (throws another pillow)
Justin: Once we can get up you are getting it boy.
Andrew: Oh I am shaking in my boots.
Pilot: (over the intercom) We have reached our cruising altitude. You may now freely move around the cabin.
Justin: (unbuckles and jumps on Andrew) SAY YOU ARE SORRY!!!!
Andrew: Get off of me!!!! MOM!!!!
Pattie: Hey you got yourself into this, now get yourself out of it.
Justin: SAY YOU ARE SORRY!!!
Andrew: Ow!! Ok, I'm sorry!!! Now get off of me!!!
Justin: (gets off of him) Now was that so hard. (sits next to Andrew and Kaylin)
Andrew: Maybe.
Kaylin: Ok so can you two stop it. I want to take a nap.
Justin: Great minds think alike.
Andrew: That's weird, I wasn't thinking of that.
Kaylin: (stares at Andrew) Shut. Up. Now.
Andrew: Sorry. (puts his headphones in and falls asleep)
(few hours later)
Scooter: (hits Justin) Hey sleepy heads, wake up, we just landed.
Andrew: Ughhh where are we?
Pattie: We just landed in LA.
Andrew: Oh yeah I forgot. (looks out the window) What's all that flashing? Is there like a storm or something.
Justin: Yeah a storm of paparazzi. They are waiting for us to get off. Try to look good. The getting off the plane picture is very important.
Scooter: Yeah Andrew, Justin is right. Especially this one. It is the first time for you to be photographed in public by the paparazzi.
Andrew: What about that group at the airport in Florida?
Scooter: That was just a bunch of people from Justin's team I asked to be paparazzi to see how you handled it. You did pretty well. But this is the first test. Try not to fail it.
Andrew: (pulls out a comb to fix his hair) Don't worry, I won't fail. I am great at tests.
Alex: Sure whatever you say.
Scooter: Come on, we are going to be late. Pattie, can you take the luggage to the hotel then meet us at the radio station.
Pattie: Of course, Alex are you going to come with me.
Alex: I was actually thinking of renting a car for me to go shopping and stuff.
Pattie: Oh ok that's fine. The hotel has a car rental service, so you can come with me. Kaylin, I am guessing you are going with the boys.
Kaylin: Well someone has to keep a watch on them.
Justin: We're not babies like Ryan and Chaz.
Pattie: Honey, once you prove that to me. My life will be complete. Now go or you're going to be late.
Scooter: Ready?
Andrew: Oh yeah. Open the door.
Scooter: (opens the door) The limo is right over there. (points to a slick black limo) Just past the vultures.
Justin: I will go first, follow my lead.
Andrew: Oh no (pushes him out of the way) You protect Kaylin. I will lead the way. (starts down the stairs)
Paparazzi: Andrew! Andrew! How did you meet Justin?
Andrew and Justin's POV
Justin: Andrew, don't answer any questions.
Andrew: Whoa how did you do that without saying anything?
Justin: Remember, it was one of the powers, telepathy
Andrew: Oh yeah, I forgot.
Justin: You forget a lot. Now just focus on getting to the limo without answering questions. Just let Kenny make a path and you will be fine.
