You would think that anyone earning $130,000 per week telling workers on $700 a week that they are well paid would keep their mouth well and truly shut...that's what happens when these fat cat CEO's are not publicly challenged.

Reminds me of Corrigan / Reith back in 1998 & their attempt to destroy the MUA. Joyce is not a fit & proper person to be the CEO of Aust's national airline icon. @TheMattozzie Ansett was TOAST when we bought it sonny ! And we tried to use Ansett to establish on Australian domestic services, then some bunch of plonkers ( Aussies ) changed the friggin rules on us and said NO . So we said , sod this for a lark, why should we pump good money after bad ? No bastard wants to compete ......what are they ......chicken ? So get bent

is 700 include bonuses or pocket money? hmm.. well it is a big different, but CEO work more and carry more burden on their shoulder, well at least the real CEO does. like other big businessman, they don't have time o spend time with their family cos they r very busy earning money, put their family second on their list.

to be honest, you should be lucky to be able to spend ur time with your friend and family. + AUD 2800 +pocket money+ 5 star accom, and bonuses, you will be ok i guess.

the dirty scumbag is on his way out.. Qantas is really bad to work for. I went from working at Ansett, family business, Management loved you, discount was 97.5% off. now Im at Qantas,(disc is 90% but still makes a big diff!) they make you pay for your upgrades. Ansett just gave it to us, Management hates you, it is just generally not a nice place to be. Bring back Ansett!! die dixon.

The jobs are not better and more secure, most are part time or casual. Most are outsourced so the staff receive none of the benefits that Qantas hired staff receive. This man is totally FULL OF IT !!!!
