In every war, regardless of who's fighting it, the ones who suffer the most losses are the civilians getting caught in the cross fire. Happened basically in every major conflict. Look at WW2. Germans bombing the British, the British bombing the Germans, the Holocaust, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, etc.

Blaming just the Americans for something every country that's ever been involved in a major conflict has done is hypocritical. Hell for all I know Canadians have probably killed a lot of civilians too
