Does anyone know if the music from 0:56 forward is the actual theme music to this series by hans zimmer known as "honor"?

i love HBO this BAND OF BROTHERS GENTRATION KILL ARE THE BEST

Don't compare this to the European Theatre, it was a TOTALLY different campaign, different terrain, different enemy. I am sure that the depiction of this story will be great as Hanks and Spielberg do not cut corners. As for the US "using" Pearl Harbor as a gateway to getting into the war, I agree in part, many transmissions were intercepted by the US but were not acted on...Noone actually thought the Japanese would do it, The carriers WERE moved out of port "in case". Give the story a chance

agreed, compare this trailer to the band of brothers trailer and (while i prefer to watch the stories of Europe) this looks just as good, perhaps better

there is no point comparing The Pacific with Band of Brothers.. nothing will be as great as band of brothers, and band of brothers was based on a true story retold by the counts of the actual members of Easy Company, and their experiences in Europe.. the war in Europe and the War in the Pacific were both in WW2, but were so different they could have been years apart, and what happened in band of brothers in europe will never be recreated in war ever again, anywhere on the globe..
