  • Minus the shakey camera. This shows how amazaning Dallas green truly is.

  • Yes, I'm so sorry but it wasn't exactly easy. To explain it all; I was sitting up on the balcony maybe three rows from the very back. On top of that, I had to sit on my foot and hold the camera on my knee with my finger on top of the blinking light so that I wouldn't distract people sitting around me or get caught.

  • You, sir, will burn in hell. Your punishment will be getting rammed up the asshole with pineapples by Adolph Hitler.

    Dallas Green is brilliant.

  • I was told by a random, that it was written about people working so hard for nothing, and our lives get so hard to deal with (heated up) and we all die in the end.. and same goes for a frog. If you put a frog in boiling water, it'll jump out.. put if you gradually increase the heat, the frog will sit there and die. but thats what I got told, Im not saying thats for sure what this song is about..

  • this is just amazing LOVE IT <3

  • @VertigoSqueal90 yes that is correct, and if you listen to the lyrics and understand them, thats exactly what you interpret.

  • Saw him one of these 3 or 4 shows at Danforth Music Hall. Best night of my life by far. This version of boiled frogs gave me chills

  • @VertigoSqueal90 george pettit of AoF wrote this song, about his father who worked on refrigerator parts for 26 years was soon about to retire, his pension was coming up, and they put them up for review all the time try to quit so they dont get their pension, reeally making their job stressful, his fathers generation was known as the "boiled frogs" because the boiling a frog in hot water concept is what the workplace was like during his time.

  • NO FUCKIGN WAY?!!! THERES AN ACOUSTIC VERSION OF THIS SONG?!?!!?!!!

  • the echo makes this performance chilling,

    DG=Legend

  • I still remember when I first realized he was doing a cover of Boiled Frogs. I got goosebumps. This show was awesome.

  • @greythesis

    Yeah there's a live version of Waiting and he goes "Are you seriously fighting? I'm standing up here with an acoustic guitar and I'm singing. Seriously..."

  • I was once at a alexis show and these two macho dudes tried to start fighting. And then Dallas stopped the song and called both of those fuckers out. He was saying that there is no fighting at a alexis show. It was actually pretty cool, and those dumb fuckers who we're fighting got all shit faced with their tails between their legs. Never actually seen a band member stop a fight during a set. Dallas is a Candian Ganster in my Book.

    So don't try fighting at a city and colour show!
