  • where did you get the potentiometer....i have a tr 2040 and a tr 2025...both with left channels that drop...help.?!

  • @michaelroberthayes I Rebuild them myself. The parts are no longer available anywhere else to the best of my knowledge.

  • tandberg is the best! :D

i have a tandberg tr 2045. I think i should fix it up to.

  • Be more than happy to look at it for you anytime. :-)

  • Very nice presentation - cngratulations.

This TR 2055 is one of the most beatifull unit of all Tandberg line. I have TR-2045 and I love it however, my doesn't have these great looking blue indicators and the scale backlight. In my 2045 the backlights are typical white in colour. Still very good looking unit (especialy at night) but why they didn't make it BLUE ??? Cheers,

    John

  • There were customer complaints about the blue lights back then. So they changed them to match demand. Funny how the things that irritated us back then are exactly what reminds us of why they were so great. :-)

  • As a norwegian it's nice to see people like you taking good care of a piece of our pride of electronics production- not much left now alas. I have an open reel Tandberg TD 20A-SE recorder, It works and sounds like a dream. Don't use it much though, but it is a gem and draws much attention when people come by.

  • just got mine but the radio knob was stuck so im going to fix it someday. Tandberg FTW.

  • Value? Or do you mean Sentiment, nostalgia, and just plain good music?

It sold for over 400 dollars, And I shouldn't have sold it for that.

  • How much is it worth in reality?
