JVC KaBoom BoomBox Boomblaster

This is the Best boombox ever! I bought this and I take it everywhere so I decided to make a video about it. It has Mic/Guitar input and is iPod ready! Unfortunately I did not have my iPod to demo it to in the video but the player can control the iPod. It is also very powerful ... 52W total power, 2 small 6 watt speakers + 2 twin amplified woofers.

The other thing I like at the JVC kaboom boxes is the shape, looks cool and it easy to carry thanks to the shoulder strap!!!

Great Ghetto blaster!!! Pretty expensive but it is worth it. There is no other comparable portable boombox!

The RV-NB50 boombox is compatible with a 12V DC car battery through the 12V power input.

but where can i find that dc charger to rv-nb50...

Weel, maybe it is. I really do not know that one but the fact that the manufacturer fails to reveal any information about its RMS ower makes me think twice. My guess, and looking at the size of the speakers, is that it is cheap built with not too much power. JVC Boombox delivers lots of watts and sounds good. If your opinion is based on the fact that Altec's has a better ipod dock, that is only because it is newer.

hey! have a question, going to buy a RV-NB50B that's the same? i mean with sound and such. i gues. how long batterytime is it? anything i should know about this? i'm buying it soon so any fast answer would be nice :> thx

@SorQn The one you mentioned is not as loud but it is nicer if you consider using it with the IPod. As for the battery time I do not know but do not expect more than 3-4 hours at high volume and loud bass. Cheers!

@THEKINGS001 I don't think so. This one has two bass drivers that are both larger than the Altec's single smaller driver. I've heard the JVC and I love it. I haven't heard the Altec, so I can't say anything based on experience, but I seriously doubt the tiny bass driver on the Altec can compete with the ones on the JVC.
