Starting with a 2D polyline, use ARC, OFFSET, BREAK, TRIM, JOIN and PEDIT to create the truss shape. Then use EXTRUDE and SUBTRACT to change it to 3D. Fixing rogue drawing objects with EXPLODE as well.
