I first listened to this on KFRC ( The Big 610 ) , and 1260 KYA in The Bay Area . Love the vocal harmonies and Edwin Starr , RIP and thanx for giving us such as a happy song .

What a great song by this quartet with the soulful sound from Detroit. It's such a romantic ballad expressing gratitude & devotion for the joy, love and for sticking with him/her through thick & thin. It would climb to the # 12 spot on the billboard charts in 1966. I like to put it in the same category as The Vogues "Turn Around, Look At Me" and The Association's "Never My Love". All love ballads during this great time in the 60s decade.
