While this seems like a pretty good idea, I'm sure places like 4chan will troll things like this. There's also general public opinion to take into consideration. Many people don't like Welfare or NASA. Allowing people who have little to no education on how certain economic and science programs work and voting to get rid of those programs puts the entire economy and all of federal law to be in the hands of random political fads of people who quite frankly don't know what they're doing.

@rynmor36 Look beyond the vote itself. Look for the voting record in each weeks vote. Come election time, a quick glance over all votes, will tell everyone what their elected official did to help cut spending. The dems have a record that will speak for itself and then you can slam the door more easily on Nov. 2, 2010.
