If someone has talent, but could benefit from advice, wouldn't it be wiser to establish a dialogue with the artist by making an insightful comment about their playing upon which your advice can then build, rather than just a blunt statement? Blunt statements are the province of the instructor, and there is nothing on your channel suggesting you have the cachet of a master musician. Sorry if I'm being insistent on this point, but I've just seen too much sniping lately.
Well, read your first comment again. You are implying that your knowledge of how Beethoven should be played is superior to hers. And you offer no supportive encouragement. The end result is that you speak down to her. That's something I'd avoid in this context unless you have a clip of your own which is better than hers.
im giving advice... sorry if it sounded patronizing... her overall performance was quite good.... its just you can see in the beginning she is hitting just through her arms... she doesnt follow through with the movement of her arms..... giving it a very sharp and bangy sound.... im sure some would agree with me and some definitly will agree with you.... but from what i can see her technique in tonal control need some consideration.... advice is never suppose to be used in a patronising manner ..
I can't agree. Her touch is superb. The hall and the recording are both not ideal, but her approach cannot be faulted. For someone who has posted none of their playing, your comment seems patronizing.
oh great, one audio channel is missing....

once again.... it wasnt ment to be patronizing... all good pianists would listen to advice and decide for themselves whether they take it or not...
