The name Philodendron is derived from Greek, meaning "love tree." Philodendron makes a great houseplant and will purify indoor air. Lean more at http://www.tytyga.com/product/Philodendron+%28Giant+Elephant+Ear%29+Bulb

Don't think they were saying it's an elephant ear. It is in fact a Philodendron selloum or P. selloum which is very similar to the commonly known philodendron tree or in binomial terms, P. bipinnatifidum. They are 2 of the few philodendron species that grow more or less as a shrub or tree instead of a vine which is what a M. deliciosa does.
