Hollywood FX: Rendroc's Mods For Brothers In Arms

This is Hollywood FX, the newest element of Rendroc's Mods for Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood.

HollywoodFX enhances all of the impact and explosion effects in the game, further heightening the atmosphere of fear and danger. It's not on par with Unreal3, but if you have a decent graphics card, you will get the most out of this relatively old Unreal2 game.

The new weapon sounds are from jMoney's Realistic Gun Sounds Mod. The background music is a real WWII paratrooper song also featured in Band of Brothers; this version was actually sung by the creators of Brothers in Arms.

There are a lot of other features in this video that are not in the original game, aside from the visual effects: improved AI, more realistic soldier behavior, additional American and German reinforcements, and expanded combat dialogue. They are all part of the Rendroc's WarZone mod for Brothers in Arms, which also includes multiplayer bots, detailed customization options, and much more.

can i ask ive just installed this game, and i want these mode, once ive downloaded them do i have to move them to a folder or something?... good vids u got a sub!

@evilmonkey665 Just run the installer, that's it; don't move any files. After that, watch my vid on how to enable mutators if you don't already know how.

@MrRendroc ye cheers ive been using the warzone mod lol... awsome... one more question though, when i try to enter the cd key for multiplayer, it says its wrong, ive tried the one on the cd and on the manual but it wont work, it means i cant play any of the multiplayer mtators... cheers

@evilmonkey665 I think you can play on LAN without the CD key. You can use the DemonicMP Mutator to play against the computer. I would get the Steam version of EiB when it's next on sale; I'm going to host dedicated servers to try to revive the online BiA community, and you will need the Steam version to join. Plus, you'll get a new CD key.

Thanks for the reply. I try to install the latest patch but it stops and says "Old File not found, however a file of the same name was found but the contents do not match." It then stops installing the patch. I do have the shortcuts in the start menu but when I click on it I see the BIA start up picture and it just stays at that but doesn't load the game. I don't know what to do at this point, no research has brought anything up.
