The Court of the Air (Mystical Fantasy Movie)

Animation based on the fantasy novel The Court of the Air by author Stephen Hunt. A really cool animation about 2 orphans on the run from mystical warriors. It has a Samurai Jack Esq. feel to it. Definitely 1 to watch!!

Thanks for the video. I read the Court of the Air last year and loved it. Stephen Hunt is now my favourite new fantasy author, alongside David Eddings RIP and the Twilight books too.

I wish this could be made into a real film some day.

would be nice if the people who made the advertisement committed to making a movie version, maybe some of the stuff that gets lost in translation in the book itself could be better explained (especially since its easier to imagine things than try to describe what you see/think in your head to other people...)

Yeah. I'm about half way through and it is like PULLING TEETH. The only reason I keep reading is because I've gotten halfway and I figure I should finish it. But, omg, I've given up. The main ideas are good but the actual writing and the way he executed them is horrible. Too much detail and I honestly got lost through half the book. Didn't know who/what everyone was. I wouldn't recommend it to aaaaanybody.

I agree. Stephen Hunt should include glossary of terms in the back of the book so that people can quickly flick back if they don't know what they are or forgot what they were.

It's a book, been out since 2007, lots of fantastic ideas, but sadly rather poorly written and a bit hard to get though in spots.
