I just fucking love this band so much.

@JackieChilds1 Well 20 years is a really long time and - Wait just a second....Are you being sarcastic?
-
@JefeJeffAlmanza Yea... they got some nerve , Imagine after more than 20 yrs , gettin older like that. what a bunch of jerks .
-
@JefeJeffAlmanza Yes. The 1988 song is so fresh. The drummer is totally into this, though, he helps keep it all together. Along with the guitarist.
Black Francis and Kim Deal did not get on together, apparently. Hence going through the motions. Thankfully they have not sullied their heritage by releasing sloppy going through the motions new stuff. all the best!

This performance is a far cry from another video of the same song that was dated 1988. Kind of going through the motions it seems. Girl gained some lbs. and the dudes all lost some hair.

I don't like Francis' vocals at the start, never have.
Also, is Kim smiling in the bridge? And lol at how that chicks expression changes when she sees the camera pointing in her face.

I love Pixies

When you're 20, no kids, life stretching out in front f you, its easy and lamost required to be judgemental assholes. Kim Deal was the only one I think who was financially solvent at the time of the reunion and did it to make money for Joey and Dave in particular. I don;t see that as selling out. I see it as maturity and its really moving to see them as adults, clean, sober, and making some money for those reasons. I loved seeing them again, hope to see them a few more times yet.

I caught them at Victoria hall in "91",just after the Bossanova release, and they were Amazing,I do agree, its sad to see them get older,But it happens to everyone.
But as long as there's money to be made,Fuckin milk it!!!!!
-
@ch1nmuzak I completely agree with you. When you are The Pixies there's no proving ground anymore. go out and do a reunion and fuck it if you want to make a buck go ahead. People who bitch about money hungry musicians need to get off their ass because they're late to their shift at the car wash. It's a homeless road to the top i'm sure. Just saw them in St. Paul and you could tell they were having fun and had, "passion" for what they have created throughout the years.

Oh come one, I'm a big big big biiiiig Pixies fan, but you can't downvote people because they say her voice is way off in this recording. It's pretty obvious, no? -.-

"We were kinda hesitant. We're a little sensitive about milking the reunion thing to death. We don't want to be seen as taking advantage of all the good will. At the same time, we are in show business and it is our right to go play "
